Mackenzie enjoyed the ride in Uncle Sam's new M3! A V-8 engine with 420hp and a top speed of 250mph...holy smokes!

San Diego in September

We went to Jen's family a few weeks. Mackenzie had a blast! One of her highlights was going to the San Diego Zoo (see post below).

Another MJ highlight. Quality time with Uncle Sam, who spent time teaching her new facial expressions, much to the dismay of MJ's parents. ;0)

dinner, she is out in the backyard playing with her
bubbles. She loves this big bubble wand because she
can finally make her own bubbles with this.

4th of July @ SeaRanch

During the 4th of July weekend, we drove up to Sea Ranch for our first time.
The place was nice and quiet and the coast was beautiful! A great way to
celebrate Mommy's birthday!

Girl meets "Koi"

Okay, I cannot take credit for this clever caption for this picture. This was out in Kauai back in June. Credit goes to my brother, Quinn. Every now and then, my little bro comes up with a brilliant thought. ;0)

Family Vacay in Kauai

5 days and 6 nights in Kauai....wished we could've stayed longer cuz it went by sooo fast.

Mackenzie had quite an adventure out there in the islands. Here she is at the hotel and engrossed with all the yee (fish) in the koi pond. Some of the biggest koi that I've seen, and Mackenzie also was able to point out the yah yah (ducks) and neow (birds).

Mackenzie also had a lot of time in the water, but it wasn't easy for here as she went through a lot of new experiences here. Her water time ranked in the following order.....#1 bath time (all smiles), #2 pool time (started to get acquainted with the pool) and #3 beach time (totally freaked out).

Daddy found some time to do some snorkeling and ventured out in the waters with his digicam and water-proof casing, and spotted a turtlein the waters of Lydgate Beach.

What language do you speak?

We're so excited that Mackenzie is bilingual because she understands
& speaks more Chinese than English. Then about a week ago, we
discovered that she knows a secret 'third' language. During dinner
one night, it appears that she is telling us something very profound
(while eating her Goldfish snack) but unfortunately, Mom & Dad
have no clue what she is saying.
Can you figure it out?

Uh-oh, already the love of shoes has already begun!
Mackenzie is obsessed with wearing all kinds of shoes
these days. In fact, she's gotten quite good at it. Here,
she's doing a really good job at wearing mom's heels!
