5 days and 6 nights in Kauai....wished we could've stayed longer cuz it went by sooo fast.
Daddy found some time to do some snorkeling and ventured out in the waters with his digicam and water-proof casing, and spotted a turtlein the waters of Lydgate Beach.
Mackenzie had quite an adventure out there in the islands. Here she is at the hotel and engrossed with all the yee (fish) in the koi pond. Some of the biggest koi that I've seen, and Mackenzie also was able to point out the yah yah (ducks) and neow (birds).
Mackenzie also had a lot of time in the water, but it wasn't easy for here as she went through a lot of new experiences here. Her water time ranked in the following order.....#1 bath time (all smiles), #2 pool time (started to get acquainted with the pool) and #3 beach time (totally freaked out).

oh how fun!! we are taking eleanora on her first big trip to mexico in oct. we are nervous about the plane ride!
